Pressure and Temperature Monitoring

The iP version of the SmartEAR leak noise logger is specially designed to measure water pressure and temperature, immediately sensing, tracking and reporting any irregularities in water delivery systems.

Long Battery Life

SmartEAR + iP features the longest battery life currently available for devices of its kind. Its 3.6V lithium battery can run without interruption for up to nine years.

Customizable Measurement Profiles

While SmartEAR + iP features several default measurement settings, such as hourly, every 15 minutes, permanent or night-time modes, it also features multiple customizable measurement cycles, with freely selectable upload times and lengths of audio files.

Technical Specifications

SmartEAR + iP features a robust design that makes it a powerful and durable monitoring option for even the harshest conditions. It is housed in a compact, efficiently designed unit measuring 122mm (4.8in) in height and 69mm (2.7in) in diameter. It weighs only 450g (15.8oz) and can be easily mounted using the custom-made magnetic ring or threaded adapter.

SmartEAR + iP is water resistant in fresh water to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes, and is protected against dust.

The device can be deployed in a wide range of temperatures, ranging from sub-zero up to 70 degrees, making it extremely versatile and useful for a wide variety of applications.

The latest radio technology, combining CAT-M and NB-IoT modems, allows SmartEAR + iP to transmit measurement data safely and reliably, even out of deep shafts, boundary boxes and through closed lids.

Take accurate pressure measurement in water systems

The device takes measurements of your system’s pressure as often as you want – hourly, every 15 minutes. You can choose from the multiple measurement cycle options. Pressure measurements are then uploaded to the Poseyedon cloud platform, where they are recorded and compared with previous readings. In this way, you can monitor the pressure in your water delivery system consistently and accurately.

Monitoring in water main access chambers, and pump stations

Use SmartEAR+ iP to keep an eye on pressure and temperature in pump stations and other water installations, to ensure efficient delivery, as well as safety.

Installation and Deployment

SmartEAR + iP is to install in any water delivery system, using the custom-made magnetic ring or threaded adaptor. The device is then connected to the SmartEAR-GO smartphone app in no time at all. The app can be downloaded free of charge and can be used on both Android and iOS devices. It provides real-time measurement, manual uploads of audio files and integrated network strength test functions, among other features.
